Can I remove my child early?
KidsRule Mountain Camps are full-day programs. You must check in at the KidsRule desk at the beginning of the day and make arrangements with a member of the staff.
Does my child need a lift ticket?
The KidsRule tuition includes a full day / full mountain lift ticket.
Do I need a reservation?
Yes, we recommend advance reservations. We limit our enrollment to the amount of available instructors that are scheduled to work on any given day.
What happens if I pick up my child late?
The program ends at 3:15. Please make every effort to pick-up your child on time. Progress review cards are distributed to students at the end of each day and this is the best time to have an interview with the student’s instructor. If you are unable to pick up your child they will be transferred to the playroom at your expense.
Do you have a ½ day program?
No, each KidsRule lesson is a day long program, but each resort has a modified program for our youngest students.

Absolutely. When you make your reservation please specify if you are enrolling for snowboard lessons.
Should my children ski together?
Our experience has found that most children benefit from training without the advice of a sibling in their class, so we do not recommend siblings in the same group.
Can my children meet at lunch and eat together?
Students will eat lunch together with their instructor, along with the kids in their KidsRule group. We do not recommend pairing siblings in the same group, and therefore it is unlikely that they will be eating together.
What if my child is on medication?
Children on medication must be brought to the attention of our registration staff. In addition to noting special medications a student is taking on their lunch menu request form, we would also like to have a member of our registration staff know of any medications your children are on. We are unable to administer any medications to students.
Can my child attend if he is in diapers or pull-ups?
Unfortunately not. We are obligated to many students during the day and have found it unfair to the class as a whole to accommodate one member of the class.
What qualifications do the teachers have?
All teachers are involved in a rigorous on-mountain training program and are verified to be ready for KidsRule instruction by PSIA member instructors.
What is the student to coach ratio?
Our goal is 6 to one. On very busy peak season days we try to add a junior pro (student teacher) in with each group over 12 students.
What happens if my child doesn't want to ski?
We have many tested methods to convince your child to give it a try. We have found it is generally best if the parent leaves the KidsRule area as soon as possible for those children who are still undergoing separation anxiety. Should your student absolutely not want to ski we will have you contacted, and keep the student occupied until your arrival. (Some young children may have to be transferred to the playroom if they are unable to maintain a sociable posture.)
Where do I leave their equipment?
All student equipment should be on their person when they arrive for a KidsRule Mountain Camp. Students should not have additional clothing or a change of clothes left at the learning facility.
How do I get notified in case of an emergency?

How do I pick up my child?
At the end of the day we hope you have an opportunity to interview the student's teacher or teachers. They will ask for your security code to match up with the code on your child's ticket before releasing the child. They will also give you a written report of your student's progress with any recommendations they may have for additional advancement.
Can my children use their personal 2 way radios?
While we encourage communication between parents and their students at the resort we have found it to be distracting when students converse with siblings, parents or friends during instruction and while riding the lift during classes. We encourage you to wait until school is over to use your two-way radios.
Can I rent equipment the night before?
Absolutely. Call to coordinate your equipment needs with the KidsRule mountain you’re planning to visit.
What if my child has never been on a chair lift?
Don’t worry about it! We all have to start somewhere. Our instructors will teach your children in class the proper way to board and get off our chair lifts.
